Synopsis: Montana Story 2022 starts when Cal travels home to the ranch where he grew up after learning that his father has had a seizure and is on life support. As Kenyan nurse Ace looks after the father, Cal prepares the ranch for a bankruptcy sale and attends to other business matters. Longtime housekeeper Valentina lends a hand when she can, but the ranch, which includes some hens and an arthritic 25-year-old horse named Mr. T, is in worse shape than Cal’s vegetative father.
