Synopsis:
Prequel to the legendary mafia series The Sopranos. In the 1960s, Italian gangsters of different clans are still young and practically reign supreme in New Jersey. However, in the Newark area there are more and more African Americans who have their own “concepts” and interests. Ethnic-criminal conflict turns into a real street war. It will forever change the landscape of the underworld and, in part, the entire mass culture of America. The film was written and produced by the original show’s creator David Chase. Interestingly, actor Michael Gandolfini played the role of young Tony Soprano, played by his father James Gandolfini in the series.
