Synopsis: Pearl 2022 is a prequel to X that tells the origin story of Mia/Pearl, the antagonist from that film. This one begins in 1918 when Mia is a young girl living on a farm with her strict mother Tandi and her sickly father. Mia’s behavior around animals and later people shows the first cracks in her personality. She wants is to leave the farm and become famous, but her responsibilities there prevent her from doing so.
