Synopsis: Prey is set in 1719 North America and tells the tale of Naru, a young Comanche lady who aspires to join her tribe’s ranks of warriors and hunters. She thinks that the only way to overcome her feeling of perpetual inferiority to her elder brother Taabe is to complete the kühtaamia, the grand hunt, a rite of passage. When a mountain lion strikes, she gets her opportunity, but the pursuit of the large animal exposes a far more dangerous predator, one that only Naru appears to see. She goes out to pursue the Predator with only a few weapons and her astute wits in order to save her people from this new menace.
