Synopsis: The “Scream VI” franchise is typically set in the fictional California town of Woodsboro and features a diverse assortment of slashers donning ghostface masks. Ghostface victims were later linked to Billy Loomis, the original target of the 1996 film Sidney Prescott, or her lover, the inaugural Ghostface. Subsequently, the film making of writer Kevin Williamson and veteran horror master Wes Craven reinvigorated the slasher genre and infused it with diabolical meta-commentary, in which the characters knew they had to break the horror movie rules in order to survive.
